This year’s combined team points placed Sarasota YMCA in first place after the final day of competition. They scored a total of 660 points (257 points for the men and 403 points for the women). Middle Tyger came in second with 656 points (378 points for the women and 278 for the men). Third place went to Triangle Area with 438 points (150 points for the women and 288 points for the men). Triangle Area won the overall men’s side of competition.
There were eight YMCA National Records set during the four day competition. Records came from:
Margo Geer in the women’s 100 freestyle (48.89)
Hali Flickinger in the women’s 400IM (4:12.51)
Nicholas Caldwell in the men’s 1000 freestyle (9:00.17)
Margo Geer in the women’s 200 freestyle (1:46.20)
Leah Pronschins in the women’s 100 breaststroke (1:01.43)
Mitchell Friedemann in the men’s 50 freestyle (20.33)
Margo Geer in the women’s 50 freestyle (22.67)
Nicholas Caldwell in the men’s 500 freestyle (4:20.28)
