The IUP men's and women's swim teams both finished this season above .500. The women's record was 5-3  while the men finished at 4-2. The were many highlights from this years season for the Crimson Hawk's.

In the history of the Crimson Hawk swimming program it has had 108 All-American swims. The team has continued to grow succesfully over the past four seasons since the hiring of Head Coach Chris Villa.

The latest highlight from the team came from sophomore swimmer Jackie Hynson. Hynson recorded two third place finishes and an eleventh place finish at this years Division 2 NCAA Championships. Her two third place finishes came in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:02.44 and in the 200 yard backstroke where she posted a time of 2:00.79. Her eleventh place finish came in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 56.79
